I have dealt with back pain for over a decade from a motorcycle accident. I have seen chiropractor for years and even though they helped somewhat, I had to keep going back very often for it to not get worse again. I have seen Thom about 10 times and my back has improved tremendously. My pain has gone down by 70% and I can feel that it is not just a temporary relief; structurally I am improving. I play 4 instruments and had been living with severe, chronic back pain for 8 years when I met Thom.
I was probably incurable, and frankly, I know I will never be 100% again, but Thom brought me back from the brink of desperation, and set me on a course towards improved posture, heightened body awareness, and pain free living. After one year of regular treatments, I felt strong and balanced enough to stop everything---physical therapy, acupuncture, pain meds, the constant swimming, stretching, and cure searching--and start to live a life that was more than my pain, and my daily obsession with finding any way I could to minimize its impact.
Thanks Thom! I'll never think about bodies, muscles, and movement the same way again.
